Thank you for stopping by and taking the time to read this! While many of you may know me as a lover of LEGO creations or as a trans person who posts a silly number of selfies, I do have a couple of other interests I wanted to share.

For friends, family, and those of you just plain interested in my transition, I encourage you to take a look at my story in the "trans talk" section where I share my path of self-acceptance.

Professionally, I have a background in web development, user experience, branding and design. I see creating web experiences as an extension of my passion for LEGO building, which is probably why I love it so much! I've been blessed to work within communications organizations at two Fortune 100 companies since I started my career in 2003, planning intranet sites, coding interfaces, writing & refining brand standards, crafting & testing user experiences, launching social channels and managing public web presences. And while it's been a long time since I did freelance websites on the side, I'm enjoying scratching that itch with this site :).

Outside the office, I'm a person of many nerdy hobbies and distractions. These include (but are by no means limited to):

And when I'm not geeking out on my own in some fashion, I'm reveling in time with friends. Game nights (hosting them before the pandemic, logging-in during), pub crawls, wine tastings, speakeasies, performances, dinner parties: if I can spend time relaxing and laughing with good people, I'm living for it. And as I've gotten older, venues where I can actually hear and be heard are key :P.

I'm so lucky to have awesome people in my life, and so thankful that my social life has been able to continue and expand since I began my transition.
